Aluminum Die-Casting Design
According to Torque News the Tesla Giga Berlin will use a new redesigned front chasis made by aluminum Die-Casting !!! This makes Telsa vehicles to be composed by 3 major parts ( front Die-casting chasis, central structure which incorporate with battery to become honeycomb design, rear Die-Casting chasis which already exist).
According to Elon Musk the honeycomb battery structure IS stiffer than any convertible chasis.
We have seen honeycomb design widely used by aluminum Die-Castings since decades ago.It is a great alternative for traditional ribs.
